How can we help?
My steps aren’t moving me along the trail
Summit Steps reads steps from Apple Health or Health Connect each time you open it, so open the app first. If the number still looks wrong, check the permission:
- iPhone: open the Health app, tap your profile picture, then Apps → Summit Steps, and turn on Steps and Walking + Running Distance.
- Android: open Health Connect, then App permissions → Summit Steps, and allow Steps and Distance.
Steps count from the day you started your trek. If you’d rather not connect Health at all, you can log steps by hand.
I paid but the app still shows the free plan
Open your profile in the app and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you’re signed in to the same App Store or Google Play account you bought with.
How do I cancel my trial or subscription?
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Summit Steps.
- Android: Google Play → your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or the current period ends. You keep Summit Pro until then. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
I missed a day. Is my streak gone?
Not if you had a rest day left. One acclimatisation day a week protects your streak automatically. You can change the number of rest days in your profile.
Can I switch to another trek?
Yes. Open your profile and tap Trek. Your progress on the trek you leave is saved, so you can come back to it later.
